It's pretty rare to get an opportunety to listen to a live band from Norway here in Denmark, so it was a nice change to catch this Friday night when Bigbang played a support job for Kira And The Kindred Spirits.
I didn't knew anything about the band in advance, but I immediately discovered that the drummer was Oluf Olsen, whom I had seen playing with Tim Christensen some years ago. They had the same crew numbers as Tim's band, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, and the World's best band before them, Cream:guitar, bass and drums. It was amazing how much variated sound they were able to make from that few instruments.
In fact they reminded me of Tim Christensen's music when he is in his rocking mood!
This night Bigbang supported Kira And The Kindred Spirits, but on 20., 21. and 22. December Kira and her band support Bigbang at three gigs in Norway.
