In Summer 1999 Freya toured as part of Se & Hør's Summer Rock 1999 tour, which played in 12 Danish cities. The other bands were Zididada, Sweethearts, the Swedish heavypop band Starz, Tears for Jeanie, Pretty in Pink and Hilda and Keld Heick.
The tour started in Silkeborg on 2. August and ended in Horsens on 21. August 1999.
They performed at Glostrup Torv the 5. August as part of Glostrup's 808 Year Anniversary Celebrations.

This was my second Freya-concert (the first being Viften in Rødovre on 9. April 1999). It was obvious that Freya was still new as a live-on-stage performer, not feeling very comfortable as an entertainer. The introductions in between the songs were very brief, if any. Compared to the talkative Freya on the 2000 Fall Tour, she seemed to be a little stiff and nervous. But it didn't matter, because when she sang, she radiated self-assurance and convinced everybody in the audience that she was an artist with a great talent for writing good rock-songs.

After Freya's performance I met her for the first time, when she delivered autographs backstage. When I told her that it had been a great performance, she stopped writing, for a while looked me into the eyes and replied: thank you, in a very kind way. She was very calm in spite of the huge crowd surrounding her, and took her time to sign her photos, untill each and everyone had got their autographs. She seemed to be much more relaxed among the crowd, than previously on stage.
