Lars HUG
Arken, Ishøj
26. March 2006

Not since February 1993 I've heard an acoustic concert by Lars HUG, so it was a nice experience to listen to this unique Danish artist giving a 20-song acoustic/semi-acoustic concert in Arken.
He started with a brief 3-song acoustic solo set before the guitarist, Rolf Hansen, and the percussionist, Anders Stochholm, entered the stage.
I was allowed to make photographs during the first 10 minutes, so most of the pictures below are made very fast in a row. The pics at the bottom are made during the closing applause, though.

Lars HUG is an excellent performer, changing his set list at each concert, just like Bob Dylan use to. Behind his cool image, you can feel a very sensitive and serious artist.
Rolf is a brilliant guitarist and he also gave one of his own songs, New Start, which gave a foretaste of a - hopefully - coming solo album:

We got almost all the loved songs from Lars HUG's back catalogue in very nice and laid-back versions.
