This Heavy Heavy event at The Rock was the first of hopefully many to come where artists from the heavy rock genre gather to play heavy metal classics from the 80's and 90's.
Simon Jul was the originator of the idea and he joined the band of musicians himself, playing electric guitar and singing the lead vocals on several songs.
On guitar, Kasper Falkenberg from Celina Ree's band, Johnny Deluxe and The Fashion. On additional guitar, Anders Bo Jespersen also from Celina Ree, Anne David, Oliver Weers and Burhan G.
On bass guitar,
Anders Borre Matheisen from Celina Ree, Alex, Littlefish a.o.
And finally
Anders "Andy" Kirkegaard on drums, from The Storm, Celina Ree a.o.
On guest vocals we had Anne Holse from my favorite band, ReBound Rubies and DK Rocks. And finally Celina Ree.
One of the highlights for me was to hear Simon Jul's version of the Old Alice Cooper song, Poison, and Anne Holse's version of the Pink Floyd classic, Another Brick In The Wall.
It was a great event, and I'm looking foreward to the next Heavy Heavy Concert.
