Ida Corr
Pumpehuset, Copenhagen
17. September 2005

First time I experienced the talent of Ida Corr was one and a half year ago at Rosie McGee's (see here). After the show I had to tell her how surpriced I was to find an artist, whom I didn't knew in advance, having such a great and powerful voice like hers.
Meantime she has released her debut solo album containing the hit U Make Me Wanna. So it was with great expectations that I went to the concert at Pumpehuset to hear and see this Street Diva.
And Diva she was. Diva is not something you can pretent to be. Diva is a condition demanding a great artist, along with a strong and unique personality. Ida Corr has both. She appeared as some Danish Alicia Keys performing her special funky fashioned music.
We got complete track list from the album, together with the non-album song, I Wanna Be Your Lover, performed by Christina Undhjem. For me she reached the peak of the night with the extremely beautiful ballad, Lullaby, given as the first the encore song.
I'm quite convinced that Ida Corr face e great furture as one of our biggest artists in her genre.
