Once in a while you realize that its worthwhile to go out to listen to completely unknown artists. Often they are more exciting to hear compared to musicians who have attained fame in the music business as they are dying to get attention to their music.

I love to be surprised by the very talented artists we see popping up these years at the Danish Music Scene.
At a Brett Perkins Songwriters Open Stage event at Lades Kælder on 20. August 2006 (see here) I noticed a young man, Kaspar Parby Vig, performing as the last artist in the row of 23 new talents, each playing one acoustic song. Kaspar's sound reminded me of the young Bob Dylan, - 1963 style, and I contacted him after the show to learn more about this gifted artist.
Kaspar sent me a demo of 10 of his songs, and after hearing it I decided help him in his career, if he wanted it. Here are the tracks on the demo:

We did the series in Assistens Churchyard in the center of Copenhagen on a lovely Autumn day.

Kaspar Vig plays his debut concert with his band Silver City at Pumpehuset on 1. December 2006. Unfortunately I can't be there, but you should go, if you want a great musical experience.
