Myra Green
Rust, Copenhagen

I became aware of Liv Thrane by complete coincidence. Only because Tanja Appehl had recommended Liv's music at her mymusic.dk-page, I downloaded her six-song demo, which immedialy took me by surprise. It's exactly that kind og pop-rock which I dig! I believe Liv Thrane and Tanja Appehl to be among the most promising upcoming Danish artists that I'm aware of at the moment!
So I contacted Liv Thrane and proposed her to make a live-at-stage photoseríes of her when she made her stage debut. She has chosen to make it together with her band, Myra Green, and they did a trible concert at Rust with two other upcomers, ALT and Mavis (my photos of those bands can be viewed some other place at this site: ALT & Mavis).

You wouldn't guess from her performance that this was the stage debut of this gifted girl. Liv seemed to feel comfortable on stage and she and the band played Liv's songs with much selfconfidence. The songs were played more roughly and passionaltely compared to the demo versions, which made them really meaningfull.
I really expect Liv Thrane with Myra Green to develop into a great and respected band in the time to come and I'll definitely be present at their future concerts.
