Erik

Together with my daughter and son-in-law, I was an extra in the grand finale shooting
at the upcoming
Erik Clausen movie, "Villa Paranoia",
scheduled for a 12. March 2004 premiere. It was a wedding scene
with Sonja
Richter, Sidse Barbett Knudsen, Pernille Højmark and
Fritz Helmuth. Below a couple of my portraits
of the actors can ve
viewed. As an old fan of Clausen & Pedersen I was very pleased to meet
Erik Clausen.

There was a lot of waiting time on the shooting session, so I took the opportunity
to have a talk with the grand old man on
the Danish Scene, Fritz Helmuth.
Minutes before he had acted as an old man close to death, but at the breaks, he
was
very vivid and extremely kind. We had a talk about digital cameras, and
he asked me for advices before buying one himself.

During the shooting of "Villa Paranoia" I noticed this
pretty young girl, 16 year old Maja Mollerup Pedersen,
and when I
talked with her after the filming, she appeared to be Erik Clausen's niece!
She wants to become
something within the film/theatre business herself.

In 1995 I took part of the now legendary TV-show Husk Lige Tandbørsten
as the superfan
of great Danish singer, Monique Spartalis. After quizzing
versus Monique at stage, I met host Casper
Christensen and Lars Hjortshøj
backstage. The show was live broadcast by DR-TV-1.

7. May 1992 (her debut performance),
I met her in person for the first time
in September 1994. It was backstage after her performance in the
TV-program
Dansk Kabel & Tråd, in which Danish newcomers were promoted.

Anne
Bie, X-rated movie actress
(Born in 1953).
About 1970 I went around in Copenhagen hunting photo
objects
when I met this charming girl. She invited me to her flat which
she shared with a girlfriend. I did some shots of the two of them
(the photo
above was published in a photomagazine). A couple of
years later I saw that
Anne had started a career as an actress in
the Danish 1970's porno film, which
was popular in the 1970's.

Frederik, Prince of Denmark, 13. August 1992
Prince Frederik was Guest of Honour at Glostrup's 800 Years
Anniversary, which was celebrated in 1992. I believe
that it is pretty rare that the coming King of Denmark is waited
with plastic drinking glasses and plastic tableware!!

year.

Steen
Møller Rasmussen, 31. August 1979
I believe it's most correct
to name Steen as an avant-garde artist. We met in 1975 when we both participated
in The Kodak Gallery and started a friendship from then. Steen has
so many ideas, so it's hard to follow him some times! One of his idears was to
photograph people walking on Strøget in Copenhagen - all posing on the
same spot: a chalk cross on the pavement.
And so we did! Together we made
a book based on this concept (På Krydset, ISBN 87-980851-1-5,
reviewed in Politiken, 25. May 1980).
Above is Steen and myself, photographed
by the camera on a tripod. (See also the photo below).
Here is some data about Streen: Born 1953. Cinematographer from the Danish Film
School, 1980.
Works as director and cinematographer. Films as director include:

me to his home for a photo session a couple of days later. Here are two of
the pictures.

Fischer Møller, June 1974
She
was the comet of Socialdemokratiet (The Danish Democratic Party) in these years
- a new Ritt Bjerregaard, and as so she was predicted a coming leader in danish
politics. I made a series of portraits of her, and she was so pleased about the
result that she invited me to dinner. But it never happened ... Shortly after
she comitted suicide for unknown reasons. She was a very charming and clever girl
and a major loss for Danish politics.

Louise
Lie von Linstow, 1992 and 1993
As
the daughter of a friend of ours, I have known Louise sinceshe
was a little girl.
She has always had a strong charisma in combination with
a great beauty.
I photographed her for the first time in France when she
was 12 years old.
Above she can be veiwed from two sessions:
The two
photos upper left is from 19. August 1992 (here she is 13 years old)
and
the photos to the upper right and buttom are from 11. June 1993 (here she is 14
years old),
both at Vrads Sande in Jutland. Today
Louise is a talented stylist at the various Danish magazines.
