This was the opening concert of The Pernille Valentin Spring 2007 Tour and in fact her debut public concert. I attended her Release Party for her first album in October 2006 (see the photos here), and since then I've been looking foreward to hear a full concert from this fascinating girl.

Pernille appeared a little scared at the beginning of the show, but very soon she got the dedicated audience in the palm of her hand. She turned out to be a powerful performer, never losing the fragile charm, which seems to be her trademark.

We got exactly the ten album songs, no less no more. No encore songs, even though the audience seemed to want more. The show would have improved by adding to the set list a non-album song or maybe a cover version song. The performance seemed a little too short though it started by a support band, Superhabit (photos from their set can soon be seen on this site).

I hope to get a chance to go to two more shows of the ongoing tour to see this ecxiting new artist.
