I became aware on the 27 year old twin sisters from Strawberry Blonde earlier this year when one of the sisters, Betina, mailed me to ask for permission to use one of my photos of Lasse Helner for a poster for a performance at Fyen, where the sisters live.
I visited their website and found their music interesting, so we made an appointment to make a live photo shoot next time they happen to play in the Copenhagen area.
So I came to cover their performance at Lades Kælder, not knowing that it was a singer/songwriters evening, they participated in.
This gave me an opportunity to hear and photograph a lot of upcoming artists in addition (see the photos here).
