As far as I can see in my old photographic negative archives 1969 marked the start of my career as a music-photographer. I started to make photographs in 1960. My father taught me how to expose correctly, to develop the negatives and to enlarge the pictures in the darkroom at that time when I was 10 years old.

I went to an art school (Danish Design School) in 1968 and studied there for 5 years. During my education I started to improve my photography. I combined my interest for music with my passion for photography, starting by the classical music and later I converted to the rock music.

I could have seen The Beatles in 1964 and Bob Dylan in 1966, but I didn't, as I mostly listened to classical music at that time! So my first rock concert was the debut concert of Savage Rose in Falconer Theatret in 1968, as they incorportated both rock and classical style in their music.

My first remembrance told me that it was Burnin' Red Ivanhoe on the first photo shown below. But being in contact with two of the musicians from the event, it has now been possible to identify the musicians. Thanks to Ole Fick and Morten Reumert for the informations.
