Singer in Graatone, Karen Vinther Ringsmose, is known from the neo-punk band, The Girl Who Loved Horses, founded in 2004.

The music of Graatone is still punk-rock, played with much energy and entusiasm by the band. With two guitarists the sound is rather heavy.

I've met Karen a couple of times before. She's Freya's girlfriend from their early schooldays and you can see pics from their 2005 trip to Iraq here. And a pic from a Freya-concert from 2007 here. Freya was also present this evening at Raahuset.

Graatone is at the monent working on songs for an upcoming album.
