Pickled Platypus played together with three more bands at The Melody Maker Contest at Pumpehuset. The other bands were: The Verges, Jutta Lane and Anubia (click on the band names to se my pictures of their performences). I was surprised by the energy of the front singer, Caroline. Tough looking like the girl next door she turned out to be a very powerful and charming stage personality. During her performance she jumped down among the audience, dancing along.
Pickled Platypus played a catchy set of songs, with much more energy compared to their 8 song demo-album, Fem Meter Mennesker, and they ended up as this night's winners.
