Since 1971, when I became aware of Niels Skousen's artistic talent for the first time, I've been a dedicated admirer of his poetry and music.
I saw the television broadcast of a concert from Svendborg Square at Fyen, which was broadcast on 21. June 1971.
I recorded the audio track of the four songs, and I still have it on tape!

I've attended Skousen & Ingemann and Niels Skousen solo concerts several times in the passed years. The greatest moment appeared at the 40 Years Anniversary Jubilee Concert at Vega on 14. May 2011.
My photos from this great event (23 photos) were used as cover- and insert photos on the album box containing a double cd and a dvd.

The film director, Linda Wendel, made the documentary, Niels Skousen: 40 år i dansk rock, which contains the entire concert captured on cd and dvd in excellent sound. Interview footage with Niels Skousen and Peter Ingemann and a music video is added as well.

The Release Party took place at Nørrebro Bryghus for the involved people and some invited guests. I did a few photos of the participants to be viewed at the bottom. I had a brief talk with Stig Møller, but unfortunately he had left before I managed to get a portrait of him.
He and Peter Ingemann had to leave for a gig at Drop Inn.

Skousen performed a three song set with songs off Herfra Hvor Vi Står, and in the second set Niels Skousen played selected songs from his solo albums, backed by two guitarists, Jonas Struck and Rune Kjeldsen.
